The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8 (NKJV)
Sometimes it seems that so many things are coming at us at once and we can feel forgotten and abandoned by God. In such times, it is good to know that our feelings need not be denied, but rather processed. Nevertheless, don’t let the burden of your predicament cause you to think that you are somehow out of sight to God or have fallen off God’s radar. God is interested in what concerns you. No matter how mundane or small it may seem, if it is keeping you up at night, God is interested.
The thing to remember however, is that God is more interested in you, than in what concerns you. You are the work of God’s hands. God’s masterpiece. (See Ephesians 2:10) So, God is always at work seeking to help make you better. Trust the process and trust the hands of your Maker. Take this truth to heart: “being confident of this very thing, that [God] who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 (NKJV) God is faithful and merciful until the end. Rest confidently in God’s character, especially in those time when you do not like or cannot understand God’s conduct)
Loving and praying for you, Pastor Danielle
