Monthly Projects

Each month we look for an opportunity to try out a new project. Ideally these projects are suggested to us from within the church by someone who has a passion for the project. Past projects have included:

• Serving meals at The Carpenter’s Shelter

• Serving meals at Martha’s Table

• Sorting food at AFAC

• Hosting the annual Christmas Party for the DC Kids Ministry

• “Extreme Makeover” Project for Garfield Terrace Community Center

• Assemblying care packages at the USO for US soldiers
