small groups

“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17  The Church at Clarendon is home to numerous small groups ranging from traditional to modern, established to home-grown, peaceful to audacious, discussion-oriented to curriculum-based, men-only and women-only to co-ed, cross-cultural, and intergenerational. Our church home embraces the concept of Scripture study, accountability, and fellowship. Some of our groups are “covenant” in nature: they meet weekly to study Scripture, frequently studying theology and history while committing to investigating the life of Jesus and the Word. Some of our groups are “i-Connect” in nature: they agree to meet and share the trials and blessings of our faith journeys together in the Spirit of God and His Word.To see the small groups schedule, consult the church bulletin or weekly e-newsletter. Some of our groups are listed below. We also want to nurture and grow new groups, so please share your ideas, experiences, and interests with us. To learn more or get involved, contact Stephen Taylor ([email protected]). We are available to discuss further and help you find your best fit!“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20
