small groups

“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17.  The Church at Clarendon provides opportunities for people to grow together through classes and small groups on Sunday and during the weekend.  By journeying together as we study and live out God’s Word, we are striving to become more like Jesus.  No matter the group or age, we are encouraging each other to:
-worship with others
-read, pray, and listen to God everyday
-walk the talk with friends
-exercise spiritual gifts
-serve and give generously
-reach out, invite, and show the way

Mid-Week Growth Environments

ladies alive 2015Ladies Alive! is a weekly time of Bible study and fellowship for any women that would like to join. They meet on Mondays at 7.30pm in the Welcome Hall.  They use books, personal stories, devotionals, and other texts to prompt study of God’s Word together. Our group seeks to “seize this moment and walk wisely and joyfully into the future together-believ(ing) that the Spirit of God works everywhere to bring and restore aliveness through individuals, communities, institutions and movements.  On the first Monday of every month, the ladies all go out to dinner together at a local restaurant or member’s house.  Come join in this weekly time together to enjoy each other’s company and get to know one another as the Body of Christ.
