Small Groups

It’s time again for a new semester of small groups – beginning January 23, 2012. We believe that participation in a small group is a great way to develop closer relationships with others in our church community and with our God. We offer semester series small groups throughout the year, and ongoing groups welcome new participants any time. We are really excited about the classes this semester, and have developed classes to focus on dedicated bible study, separate men’s and women’s faith fundamentals, moms, and many more! In addition we offer monthly social events to celebrate community.

Considering checking out one of our small groups?  Contact for our small group ministry leader Stephen Taylor (stephen@1bc.org) for information on how to get involved, finding the right group for you, and any other concerns!

Our Vision

To be a community that lives by faith, is known by love, and is daily growing to be more like Christ.

Our Priorities

Worship – to give God glory and to seek His presence to be changed.

Discipleship – to be vigilant in cultivating a holy discontent with the status quo, always yearning to be more like Christ in every way, both as a community and as individuals.

Love – to love all that come our way, especially those who are difficult to love or are distinctly different, whether in social standing or in ideology, that we might be a truly diverse community united by the love of Christ.

Mission – to actively pursue the expansion of God’s Kingdom in this world.
