Small groups are an essential aspect of our church community. In these groups we nurture friendships, wrestle with the realities of life and the truth of the Bible, and pray.

The Christian Life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Paul writes in Hebrews 10:25, "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching." And so we encourage you to join one of our small group Bible studies:

SMALL GROUPS

Most of our small groups took a break for the first half of January, but our new slate started the week of January 24th. This semester the contemporary community will be trying something a little different (and all are welcome to participate!). Instead of small groups, we will be offering two large group Bible studies along with the option of mini-groups. There is still time to join in!

2) The Wednesday Night Group
Meeting at 7:30 PM in the Church House, a study of the Gospel of John led by David Perdue.

3) The Women's Group
Co-led by Christine Meléndez & Sara Drehmer and meeting Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM at Melanie's apartment at the Clarendon, 1200 N Herndon St #905, Arlington, VA.

**just 1 block from the Clarendon metro (and 1 block SW of the church and church house)**

We'll be digging in to the truths of God's Word as we talk, pray and laugh with one another. Wherever you are in your journey, this is a great opportunity to grow in your relationship with God alongside other women in our church community! Contact: Sara (sara.drehmer@gmail.com) .

Contact Betsy (betsy@1bc.org) or David (david@1bc.org) if you have questions or want to get involved.

4) Mini Groups
An opportunity to gather in groups of 3-5 people for book study, Bible study, and/or spiritual accountability; provides flexibility in schedule and location to build deep relationships.
